MassUser 3.06.07 Print

Issues fixed:

* Copy default directory structure and the rights
There was a bug in the "copy default directory structure". All subdirectories where copied into the homedirectory root, with the result that the proram couldn't copie the files.
As a result of a bug in the set attributes routine, the program couldn't set the attributes as the directoryname contains a space.

* Directory quota rountine for extra directory
The directory quota rountine for extra directory was disabled in the program.

* Copy attributes now during Homedirectory
The program didn't check the option "attribute copy", so the attributes where always copied. There was also a problem that the program sometimes did set the "link" attribute (marking the directory as a junction).

* Groupwise Distribution list updates also updates groupwise database
The program didn't correctly update the groupwise database on a add to distribution list. The eDirectory was updated correctly.

* Fixed CFL/CSV option userfl=2
The CFL/CSV option with userfl=2 contained a bug, the program always claimed that there was a lookup error (no or more that one object found).
see also new features CFL/CSV.

New features:

* Default directory structure for extra directory
The option "default directory structure" is now also added to Extra Directory.
There is now also a seperate program included for defining of the filerights and attributes for the new default directory structure.
DefStruct.exe (there is also a seperate "manual" included).

* Homedirectory options:
There are two new homedirectory options added to the program.

-readback trustee assignments.
In case the homedirectory attribute in the eDirectory is empty (or wrong) and there is not a logical link betweeen the username (or other attributes) and the homedirecoty name, but the users do (still) have trustee rights on there homedirectory, the program can now read these assignments and update the homedirectory attribute with this info.
This situation could happen after a server migration. See also: <make link here>

-rename homedirectory
This first version of the rename homedirectory can rename the homedirectories of all selected users to the loginname.
In the future other rename options will be added. (The program can also rename the usernames, see: <make link here>).

* NET_ADDRESS attribute types support in templates
The program can now support SYN_NET_ADDRESS type attrubutes in the template. This mean that the attribute "Netwaork Address Restriction" is supported.
The attribute: "Physical Delivery Office Name" is now also supported, it was accedently marked as not supported. (in console one this is the City attribute on the postal address under general tab).
Updating this attribute will NOT update the postal address attribute.
Post Address attribute not supported. In a future version the program can update this attribute automatically on request.

* CFL/CSV
The program can now add auxiliary classes when using cfl/csv files. Add the following section in the CFL-file:
[AUXILIARY]
classname1=1
classname2=1

Please add the =1, otherwise the program will not see the class, the classname must be an existing auxiliary class.

The option userfl=2 did only search the CN (loginname) attribute. It is now possible to search on an other attribute (like uniqueID)

userfl=2
sattr=uniqueID

The new option sattr will give the attribute for the search. The result must be unique, so only one user at the moment. In a future version a group of users can be selected this way.
(the userfl=2 can not be used in combination with create user).
If sattr is not given, the program will use the CN.

* "Super" filter for system users who should never be updated
On the setup page it is possible to select a group. The program will always exclude all user that are member of this group, even if "filter" isn't selected. This option could be usefull to protect special user accounts like admin, and other system users like a backup login user.
For very tree it is possible to select a group in that tree.

* file-trustee assignment for non homedirectory location.
On the general user tab there is a new option: "add (file) trustee rights".
This option allows you give the selected users file rights to the given directories. In the future the program will support the functions like the homedirectory.

* Splash screen

A Splash screen is added in this version. There are two options for skipping the splashscreen:
1. add -nosplash on the commandline
2. Under the setup/general settings there is an option "remove splash screen".

* Manual values.
In this version the limit of 10 attributes has been lifted, now an unlimited number of attributes can be selected.

* Single user selection for update and create!
A complete new option for selection is added. This option can be combined with CFL/CSV support.
There are 3 different situations:
1. Single Select without a CFL-file will popup the treebrowser box, and will do all the selected operations on the selected user object.
2. Combination with a CFL-file (for non create user), the program will read the CFL-file and creates for all the attributes a input field on the same page the manual option. The program will also create an input field for the homedirectory location, password, groupwise password, user volume restriction or directory quota if needed. The program will first show the user selection box and then the input window.
3. Create user in combination with Single User Select (and CFL), the program will add two extra fields to the manual input window. The first is the loginname (CN) and the other is the context for the new user. The program will not show a user selection box, but only the input window.
This last function is very usefull after a mass creation of users with a CFL/CSV file and you have to create just one or two extra users with the same CFL-settings and you don't want to create a csv-file.
