updating user home directory property - 2009/05/22 19:04 Hi, I have used Homes many, many times to update the user home directory property to point to the home folder on the new server when we consolidate NW to NW servers. Now I'm doing my first NW to SLES consolidation and I can't seem to get Homes 3.05.12 to let me select an NSS volume on the SLES server. Does anyone know how to accomplish this task?
thanks in advance for any information.

Re:updating user home directory property - 2009/05/22 20:05 Hi Scott,

Have to test it myself.
Are you using NCP or CIFS (or something else)?

Re:updating user home directory property - 2009/05/22 20:30 The volumes on both the NetWare server source server and the OES2 SLES target server are NSS.

Re:updating user home directory property - 2009/05/22 22:39 Hi,

I just have added a NSS volume to my SLES OES2(sp1) server, I can select the volume in the eDirectory browser and create some homedirectories on it.

Are you volume(s) in the eDirectory?

or maybe I do not understand your question.
