Simple Passwords - 2005/07/15 16:47 Is there a way to add a Simple Password upon MassUser creation?

We have a lot of Mac schools and we found that after the accounts were created, the users could login on the PC, but not on the Mac...once we set their Simple Password, they were able to login on the Macs. Thank you for any help you can give for this problem.

I have organized a Mac with OS-X, can you send me a private mail hans@[on this site] on how you have setup the integration of your Mac's in eDirectory, so I can test what I have to change to prevent this problem.

Found a way for setting the Simple Password, the program needs to make a LDAP connection for this. Is this a problem for you?

Re:Simple Passwords - 2005/07/18 18:54 Sure, we do have LDAP running on our servers and it would be no problem to make an LDAP connection.

Unfortunately, we have not done the eDirectory/Mac OS X integration. We have a very large network and my unit is only responsible for the servers. The workstations are handled by another division.
