How to create GroupWise mailboxes - 2005/07/15 14:09 I'm currently trying to import users via a CFL/CSV file. The users are imported correctly, but the mailboxes are not. Here is my CFL and CSV file:

CFLv1
csv=test1.csv
title=0
seperator=,
quote="
!
user=1
userfl=1
contextfl=0
context=2
Given Name=3
surname=4
Location=5
"NGW: Post Office"=6
"NGW: GroupWise ID"=7

Leernummer1,edu,Leerling1,Achternaam,klas1,po_ll.edu,Leernummer1
Leernummer2,edu,Leerling2,Achternaam,klas1,po_ll.edu,Leernummer2

Can anyone please point me in the right direction?

Re:How to create GroupWise mailboxes - 2005/07/18 13:46 Hi,

Sorry of the delay, I have done some testing myself.

Please change cfl-file into:

CFLv1
csv=leerling.csv
title=0
seperator=,
quote="
!
user=1
userfl=1
contextfl=0
context=2
Given Name=3
surname=4
Location=5

[ATTRIBUTES]
NGW: Post Office=6
NGW: Visibility=7

Add the Header [attributes] and remove the quote's and replace NGW: Groupwise ID by NGW: Visibility=7 (and update the CSV-file.

Check the option "Use Attributes from CSV-file" on the user main page. You get an extra tab (CSV-ATTR) where you can see the attribites given in the CFL-file.

During my testing I saw that the program claims that the GW-user isn't unique, this is a small screen bug, it shouldn't be there, I will fix this in the next version.

You don't have to set the NGW: Groupwise ID (done by GW), you can set NGW: Object ID, this is default set to the loginname".
I think it is wise to set the Visibility, the default value is "Post-Office" I think you want it set to 2 (system visibility).

Re:How to create GroupWise mailboxes - 2005/07/19 12:00 Oke, i updates my CFL en CSV files, but it didn't create the mailboxes. Here are my two files:

CFL file:
CFLv1
csv=leerling.csv
title=0
seperator=,
quote="
!
user=1
userfl=1
contextfl=0
context=2
Given Name=3
surname=4
Location=5

[ATTRIBUTES]
NGW: Post Office=6
NGW: Visibility=7

CSV file:
Leernummer1,edu,Leerling1,Achternaam,klas1,po.edu,2
Leernummer2,edu,Leerling2,Achternaam,klas1,po_ll.edu,2

The user IS created, but the mailbox is not! When i start MassUser i check the 'File' radiobutton, then i choose the CFL file and choose the 'User' checkbox. I then check the 'Use attributes' checkbox. When i then go to the 'CSV-attr' TAB, it is empty?!?!!?

Both the test run and the actual creation runs without errors.

I've tried 2 ways of entering the Postoffice location. postoffice.context and domain.postoffice. Both didn't create the mailbox.

Kind regards and thanks allot for the quick help.

Re:How to create GroupWise mailboxes - 2005/07/19 20:34 Hello,

At the moment I do not have a clue about a solution.
I saw you are probably dutch, can you send me an email (hans@[this site]) so we can try to fix this in Dutch. Afterwards I will update the thread with the solution.

Re:How to create GroupWise mailboxes - 2005/07/20 10:54 Final Solution.

The line [Attributes] had a trailing space. The removal of this space was the solution.

I will update the program to remove all trailing spaces in the CFL-file.
