Workstation application assosiations - 2003/01/08 14:38
Maybe this is a good idea.
For instance, a workstation has several application assosiations, but that workstation gets a new name. This will result in associating the applications to that new workstation number so that user is up and running (with all his/her applications) as soon as possible.
I can imagine a tool that makes that process much easier and less time consuming.
Maybe the following is possible?
Some sort of application where i can enter the old workstation number, witch then lists all the applications in use (assosiated) by that workstation.
Then an option is present where i can enter the new workstation number that replaces the old one. The result then will be that all the "old" workstation application assosiations will be updated with the new one.
Is this possible? And if i'm not clear with explaining the above please let me know.
