Re: Removal of Userspace/directory quota - 2004/01/18 20:57 Thankyou for the reply, setting it to 0 removed the users quotas. I was doing a server consolidation to a new tree and for some reason it kept saying the quota was exceded on the new server, even though none had been set on the new server. NSC was copying across quotas from the old volume but they were being exceded by files on the new volume, so files were not being copied. I removed quotas on the folders on the old volume and it worked.
Thanks
James

Re: Enhancement for Homes - 2004/09/12 09:35 Hello,

Nice work and exelent program.

I have only one problem, when i add/change directory quotas large numbers of users the server stop responding.
It was nice if You can add settings/option that program can wait specified time after setting each quota.

The filter is good thing but I think that "wait time" is better solutions to this problem.
Because, if program have this option i can leave computer to do the work and I can take a coffee break...

wait/delay option. - 2004/09/12 10:59 I will add this option to the program.
I will add a simple delay options in ms to quota / userspace restrictions.

Question: Which version of netware and service pack are you using?
This problem should be solved in NW 6.5, the server will queue the quota requests.

Another question: during a "hang" can you see what the cpu usage is? Maybe I can add an check rountine for % cpu like groupwise.

Don't drink to much coffee

New sleep/delay option for Homes. - 2004/09/13 16:50 I have add a sleep/delay option to Homes 3.03 beta 11.
I hope this will help you, so you can drink you coffee

This is the first quick solution, maybe I will add another check option like cpu usage or response check.

Re: Enhancement for Homes - 2004/10/07 09:33 Sorry, this delay

We have Netware 6.0 + sp4 (one server have sp5).
Hmmm, mayby it's time to upgrade nw6.5

Sorry, i can't get cpu usage, the server is totally "death", only black screen. I think that it was near 100% (two cpu's).
(This happening long time ago, so logs are useless.)
