Problems with DNSBrowse 1.07 - 2003/01/14 09:55
Program stops with:
The DNS/DHCP Locator Object not found in the search context, program stops.
The current version of the program needs the locator object to find all the servers,subnets and zones. There are a few reasons why the program can'n't find the locator object.
1. The locator object is not in the search context.
2. The program tries to find out what tree is current, sometimes this proces goes wrong and the program searches in the wrong tree. The solution is to disconnect from all other trees (if possible) or to set the preferred tree and server again.
The next version will not stop, so you can change the tree, and there will be an option for a "blind" search of the zones and subnets.
