create users with csv file - 2008/08/21 23:02 I am newbie with using MassUser. All I am trying to do is create a users accounts with home directories. To do a test I used one of your sample csv and cfl to do a test load into the tree. But, every time I try to load may test csv I got the following error "Error: Invalid file-structure input-file". Here is my cfl and cvs.

Any suggestions? I need to get this going asap. Also can I use a novell template to set disk space restrictions?

Re:create users with csv file - 2008/08/22 14:26 Does anybody have a link were I could download an example cfl and csv that works? I desperatly need to get these user accounts done this weekend. Actually I am very confident that my problem is something real simple that I am over looking. I have used some of the examples on the forum and still get the format error? Does massuser support edir 8.8 sp2? Maybe that is my problem.

sorry for the delay, has missed your post.
The CFL-file seems ok (did a copy and paste to a new text file).
Is there an empty line at to top of the file, the first line must contain the CFLv1 tag. That's the only thing I can think of in combination with the error you get.

Extra: you need to give the surname, the surname is mandatory in the eDirectory. Hans Boone

Re:create users with csv file - 2008/08/23 18:09 Would you please post some example data that goes along with the example cfl fines. If possible I would like the download files, because I did not have a space missing in my test. I did have ! but still did not make a difference. I still get the Not a valid file structure Header!.
