Why do I need CheckEdir?
Sometimes some links in the eDirectory get lost, because these error’s aren’t really data-base corruption’s, you can not repair them with Dsrepair (Netware/windows) or ndsrepair (linux). One of the most common errors is that a in ConsoleOne / iManager a user object claims to have a Group Membership of a Group but the user isn’t in the Member attribute of that group. If this is the case you can have strange errors like problems with filerights or Application not showing up in the NAL. It’s the responsibility of applications like ConsoleOne / iManager to create both links between the group and user. There are a quite a few of these "double" links in the NDS. This program can check some of these links and let you repair or remove the "faulty" links

This version is completely rewritten, at the moment the packages for Groupwise and Zen (applications) aren't available. The Groupwise package will be released soon, the Zen (application) package and some other packages (DNS/DHCP, rbs and maybe more) will be release the comming months.

The licensefile for this version is changed, if you bought a license the last year (whole 2008 up until now) you can upgrade for free, please send me your current license file and I will send a new license.

New version MassUser 3.08.02 (Dec 23, 2009)

Issues fixed:

• Fixed problem in with the commandline parameters "path=" and "epath="

changed:

• Moved the options "Object Type" and "autocreate context template" to the settingspage (was on the Main other tab and sub-tab  "objec-type")
  

removed:

• Removed "Dirs Only" option
• Removed the whole Other Tab, (edit template, specials and export)

 The removed options will become available in a separate program soon. The removed options aren't related to User objects.

New NetStorage June 5, 2008.

A new free tool avaiable. NetStorage, this program allows you to manage StorageLocation objects without iManager.

After selection a StorageLocation object, the program shows the displayname, location URL and the objects that has the location object in their xTier-LocationList. (a eDir search).

The progam allows you to change the displayname and location URL, and most important you can add and remove objects that point to this StorageLocation. 

Creation of new Storage Locations is also possible, a delete of a storage location object is not possible.

New version of dnsBrowse 2.08.04 available. (October 1, 2007)

New features:

• Local caching of the dns and dhcp records, so the next time the program starts with the "old" information. (in front of the record there is a colored dot that indicated the "age" see also more info)
• Export options have been added (red floppy button), there is a plain text export or a more complex export (eXcel, SQL, XML).
  
• Search option on the dns, rev-dns and dhcp tabs.
